Rooted in purpose rising in legacy
In Her Legacy is a nonprofit dedicated to guiding young women of color as they navigate the journey of self-discovery and legacy building. The name, In Her Legacy, reflects the belief that every young woman has the power to walk a path aligned with the legacy she wants to leave. Too often, paths are chosen that do not support this vision. By integrating cultural aspects, ancestral wisdom, and holistic wellness, we provide mentorship that encourages strength, responsibility to self, kindness, and a heart for service. Guided by a commitment to community and connection, our cohort program encourages young women to take intentional steps toward creating their legacy. Upon completing the program, participants are encouraged to pay it forward, mentoring the youth who come after them, ensuring a cycle of empowerment and lasting impact. Through this journey, each participant learns to stand confidently in her legacy and embrace her most authentic self.
